school today was all about
chemistry, literally.
According to Chemistry's definition,
Mixture [míkschər] noun
A substance consisting of two or more substances that have been combined without chemical bonding taking place.
But today,
Mixture [míkschər] noun
A substance of time, consisting of
laughter,
tears, anxiety,
anticipation, and
anger that have been combined without nothing taking place.
Weird definition, but it's true.
Boy, can I say finally!
CCP is back to her normal self; She's back to who she was when she taught 3 Grace. She told us stories and the class would laugh and we really enjoyed that. Missed the good ol' 3 Grace. She is leaving PHS to be a project officer for a year, where she would research on students. She mentioned that her first project will be
"do homeworks really help?" She kind of got a head start on that, she asked our class and we had a small discussion on that. Many comments, all constructive. Julio suddenly interrupted the session with his usual immature-type question.
J: cher!CCP: what?J: male teachers can teach girls' school right?CCP: ya, why not?J: Then later the school got no guys toilet, how??ZOMG! If everybody was there, everybody would really LOVE to give him a good tight slap on his face. I mean, how more stupid can the question be?? I mean, would you look at that question again?? I mean, I mean.... AGRH!
Sometimes I just can't stand his immaturity. Nevertheless, CCP replied.
CCP: Send you back to China.LOL. Now everyone knows about Julio and his China fantasies.
I felt I was kind of rude to AK today.
During her lesson she enthusiastically asked the class.
AK: who think they can score at least a B3 or higher for Combined Humans?Me: cher! I dropping Social Studies leh!! I not taking Combined Humans! I taking my Core Geog!!Heh. Thought I was rude? Well check this out. Apparently she was trying to test how
clever stupid we are.
AK: Who knows what is the chemical formula of methane??Me: CH4!! YOU THINK I DUNNO AH?!?!?I shouted at her. Well I guess I was kinda out of control. I think I owe her an apology. Sorry AK. Really sorry.
Now. Let's talk about our CT today - Wonderful
Chemistry. You ask me how's the test? Very bad.
You ask my class how's the test? probably 39 out of 40 would say it's difficult.
"What about that 1 out of 40?" You ask? For my class to know, for you to find out.
It was only this morning that I found out about the release of 'O' Level results. Two parties were involved today: 2006 sec 4E5N graduates, and 2007 sec 4 Higher MTL pupils.
Let us look at the latter, shall we?
Let's see, if I could use one word to summarise everything concerning the HMTL peeps, it would be cries.
For the whole day, they would burden themselves with these what-if-i-get-B4-or-below thoughts. Why is it such a big deal?? Because if they really got B4 or worse, they will be forced to take Express Chinese rather than to continue what they have been learning for the past.... 6 years?? Sad indeed.
Now for the former... Didn't spot any tears on anyone.
This year our school broke a record; 9 pupils scored extremely well. All of them got at least 5 A1s. If memory serves me right, about 5 pupils were 6-pointers.
All these statistics are driving me crazy, but they somehow made me want to study much harder and fight for that spot.
Haha, me? That spot?? 6 A1s? Haha.
Joke of the millenium.
