Woke up real early today, NOT to use the computer or watch TV. Instead, I made porridge for myself and prepared for school. Yes, Boys' Brigade today was real early.
We were going for sports competition with other schools: badminton, basketball, captain's ball and soccer. we won 2 sports, lost the other 2. I got trashed by the other schools in badminton. I can't blame them nor myself, I haven't been touching my racket for at least.... let's see... 3+ years??
By the time I reached back in school it was already 2pm. During normal Saturdays, I was packing up for tuition at 2pm. Today was different. So I rushed back home. and I mean RUSH. If I had a chance to run I would, just like Forrest Gump. So I was at Toa Payoh Interchange, waiting for 145's bus driver. Very long, I waited. Then I saw Julio walking and I called out to him. We chatted for a while, and I told him I'd be late for tuition. Like...
duhh... It was already 2.30 by then. 15 minutes to rush back home and back to Toa Payoh isn't enough time.
At home I threw my bags, racket, everything on "my space". (there's this section of my house where I can just dump my stuff there, therefore I name that area "my space") I took a really good cold shower after the long hot day. I went out of the bathroom and it felt good. I wore my clothes and grabbed my Crumpler bag, wallet, handphone and iPod and rushed for tuition. Again, I waited long for 145 to arrive. Tick tock, 3pm.
So the bus came and it took about 5-10 minutes to reach the interchange. I rushed to Popular and CD-rama to get foolscap paper and a blank CD, and yes, I ran. I tried to dodge oncoming pedestrians as I ran and WOW I was running like the wind. I gave the cashier my money and she gave me some back and after that I RAN for the elevator, which was about 200 metres away. 3.25pm
I remember on the television few days ago that the 5 Singapore Idol finalists will be at the HDB Hub. Sure enough, the place was infested with crazy fans, hollering out their idol's names. It was a battle, a war of words. It was like, "HADY!!" at one corner, and "JASMINE!!" at the other, and after that came "JONATHAN!!", "PAUL!!!!" and "JOAKIM!!". Actually if you want to vent your anger, that's the place. So amidst of all the names you can shout "LIFE SUCKS!!!" or "KISS MY ASS!!" and nobody would know.
Pressed the '7' button and up I went. When the doors opened I rushed to Asher and then ran to my classroom.
3.30pm - I was 45 minutes late.
Today was comprehension... again. But surprisingly, it was quite easy. Even though, I was the late one, I was among the first to finish the work. The teacher praised me for that. At least
that made my day. Again, Wei Ting and Julio talked about explicit stuff, and the Maxim magazine, which was somehow exciting to them. They also talked about Demand TV and other adult channels on Starhub. They are just sick-in-the-heads.
After English tuition I sent Julio home and the Idols were still there. So I, busybody, joined in the crowd to see the show. They were actually throwing those imposter bags that looks almost exactly like Crumpler bags, except they removed the logo and replaced it with the Singapore Idol logo. Cheapskate.
I admire good singers. Singers who have a unique voice, and I'll go crazy over them. One example is the one and only Elliott Yamin. I'll talk about it another day.
Ok so while I was watching the show someone behind shouted "JASMINE!!!!!!" and it was really loud. I got a little pissed and turned around. It turned out to be an uncivilised bitch who keeps shouting names. I stared at her for 1 second and I thought because of that she walked away.
Math tuition was boring. Frequency Distribution sucks, because of the histograms. The teacher, honestly, is quite boring too. Nothing much, after tuition I went home.
At home I had nothing to do, so I called Julio and asked if i could come to his house. of course the answer was yes.
So I was there, trying to help him fix his apparently dead computer. We couldn't, unfortunately, so he said he'll call the PC Doctor. Anyway, at 7.40 we watched the soccer match between Liverpool and West Ham. It was really funny watching Peter Crouch play. He is such a bag of bones (no offense), he looked like he was gonna fall apart any minute. But he's no weakling because he scored 1 for the team. In the end, Liverpool won.
I had some fries before watching another match. After Man U scored the 1st goal I decided to go home because it was getting late.
I reached home, very tired, and here I am typing. It's almost midnight. I HAVE to sleep because I am waking up at 5am tomorrow, to use the com and watch tv :)
