I haven't been updating lately this week. the suitable reason for this is probably because i was busy preparing AND celebrating my birthday, which happened to be yesterday. in case you don't wanna forget, my birthday was yesterday 5 Apr.

[4 Apr]
I woke up and was surprised that i didn't want to go back to sleep. i couldn't wait to go to school and mock at my friends and tell them that i won't be attending any lessons. heh. yeah yeah you're wondering, why? why? if you've been following the events happening in s'pore, Monday was the 1st day of the syf. and my school was 5th to perform.

had our last few warm-ups with our conductor and we waited for the bus, which made us wait for 30 minutes or so. anyway, we got on and i slept till we reached sch. (ahem. sch is NOT 'school' by the way. its an abbreviation for Singapore Conference Hall.)

i like the place, because first and foremost, it was air-conditioned. next, decorative. third, next to it was a kopitiam.

we were given the very last 10 minutes to practise our songs. and the time was finished, in no time. it seemed like only halfway through, but believe it or not, i counted, it WAS 10 minutes.

ok, the choir walked row by row to our positions and we were nervous ready to whip out an anyhow good performance.

1st song, the set piece, Sunset. not bad, i could see our conductor mouth words. if i wasnt wrong, i saw a "good" on her lips.

i smiled. and became more confident, i guess. however, i thought i was a little too overconfident. because for the next song, Il Est Bel Est Bon, we rushed through the whole song like the wind, same for Sa Li Hum Ba.

anyway... it was finished before we knew it, and we watched the rest of the choir sing. not bad. i could predict some golds and silvers.

school was boring. lucky i had nothing after school. i went home and slept for the rest of the day, maybe that explains why i didnt update my blog on Apr 4.

Monday wasn't that bad, Tuesday was worse.

in class, suddenly people were wishing me happy birthday. but only one person gave me a present -________-"""

talking about presents, guess what my mom got me...
a pen with some words engraved: Taurus, and blah blah...
omg, even my mom can get it wrong. LMAO.

anyway, my friend was telling teachers in school that it was birthday. and that was of course a lame thing to do.

nothing happened in school, really. it was boring. i went home and slept on the sofa.

my mom woke me up and guess what? she beats me up with a broomstick. why? only because i left my watch on the table -.-

i was angry and didnt talk to her for like about 2 hours. so much for my birthday.

but our family + 1 guest had a steamboat dinner for my birthday. we turned the dinner into a competition.

guess who won?
want a clue? the person is this blog's owner.
come on, this is too simple, i cannot give you a simpler clue.

but of course, i had a stomachache. so while i sat down on the sofa, i watched my family clean the mess up.

in the end, i slept early because i was too full.

as for today, i had 2 chinese spelling and i failed badly for the second one. and... also had a chinese test. and i was hopeless...

stayed back for bagpipe lessons again. i seriously MUST start swimming often. because i find that i can't catch my breath to blow the bagpipe. it is too hard. i am starting to learn difficult tunes, and my time is also slowly running out.

my eyes are slowly closing up as i finish this last sentence.
